Shipping and Delivery Policy for Bacon by the Box
Shipping Rates are calculated when you first login, otherwise we display the standard French rates. You will see the correct rates & taxes for your destination country when checking out. We ship to the following European countries based on weight of order. All fees (tariffs, taxes) imposed during or after shipping are included within the costs of your purchases.
Delivery Schedule and Timelines
Orders leave our facility in Waterford at the end of each week on Friday. The orders are shipped over the course of the weekend arriving at the courier companies’ main depots on Monday evening. Deliveries to customers commence from Tuesdays onwards. Please note that shipment and deliveries do not occur on public holidays. If the normal shipment or delivery day falls on a public holiday, it will move to the next working day. Furthermore, finalised orders are shipped 12 days after they are processed by us. Please refer to the ‘ Delivery Map & Dates ’ webpage for order deadlines and corresponding delivery dates.

Customer Responsibility and Delivery Conditions
By ordering from us, you assume responsibility for the ordered goods – including the tracking and progress of the delivery – once you receive the first contact from the courier company. You are responsible for adding the correct shipping address and a local contact number when the order is placed. Regarding potential issues, delivery delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for any delays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, deliveries may be delayed by a few days. Additionally, we will not be held responsible if you do not receive your order because it has been lost or has gone ‘out of temperature’ whilst being handled by the courier.
Quality, Damages, and Refund Policy
We will not be held responsible for any products damaged during shipping with the courier company. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] if you have received any damaged goods. Sufficient photographic evidence of the damaged parcels and goods need to be forwarded to us; please send us photos of any damaged or substandard goods. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the quality of our products, please contact us. Any goods of which the quality is substandard will be replaced by us sending it out again, preferably with your next order. The customer also has the option of receiving a refund instead of a replacement product. We may substitute goods with a different brand of the same product if we cannot find an exact replacement. We are only responsible for the condition of the goods to the party that has made the order and not any third parties. Hence, we can only offer replacement goods or refunds to the party that has made the order.
