Dubai Shopping Festival Unveils Spectacular Drone Shows and Smart City Innovation
Dubai is set to mesmerise residents and tourists alike with a brand-new drone show theme, lighting up the city’s iconic skyline during the 30th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Celebrate DSF’s 30th anniversary with nightly drone shows, dazzling displays, and thrilling prizes. From 27 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, visitors can enjoy twice-nightly shows at 8PM and 10PM at Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR, for free.
Spectacular Drone Performances and Themes
Organised by Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s show introduces the theme “Celebrating Dubai” that showcases 2D and 3D drone formations of the city’s landmarks in a stunning display of vibrant colours and light. Enjoy the fastest, brightest and most spectacular DSF drones show ever. Over 1,000 drones and pyro drones, jaw-dropping visuals and immersive light and music shows light up every evening. This year you can enjoy two captivating themes:
- Theme 1 (until 25th December): City of Dreams
- Theme 2 (26th December to 11th January): Celebration
On 11 January, DSF will feature a one-night-only spectacle combining dazzling drones, pyrotechnics, and skydivers. Starting at 8pm, the event will turn the skyline into a canvas of vibrant colours, offering an unforgettable visual experience for audiences.
